Jack had been in an accident his injuries kept him up at night, he would often sit in his conservatory looking out over his garden, one night he had visitors that took him by surprise . Never in his wildest dreams would he had ever thought what he was seeing was real. At first he thought it might have been his painkillers so he reduced them, then it came the day that he had to show his wife, to make sure that it was not his imagination. Sure enough what he was seeing night after night was real.

H2OzPipeline to Plenty

A drama, fictional adventure set in Central Australia.

Phil Roberts CEO of construction giant Robco an avid Aussie patriot has a passion for developing the centre of the barren interior. Without a permanent water source development and population growth is not sustainable. He builds an inland sea.

Courting federal politicians was fruitless and he forms a partnership with two smaller population states, Western Australia and Northern Territory. The Capricornia Corporation is born and the site for the sea is chosen. The isolated area is at the NT / WA border on the Tropic of Capricorn, six hundred kilometres west of Alice Springs and equidistant (one thousand kilometres - 600miles) from the north and south coasts of the Great Southland.

Phil needs a top man to run the project on site whilst he controls at boardroom level from Melbourne head office. He chooses his key project manager James (Jimbo) Clayton. James is a laid back, well liked character with an amazing knowledge of building and construction. He realises that the geographical spread of the works (over sixteen hundred kilometres) will cause logistical problems and so co-opts his brother Dan, who is with construction rival Thyss in Sydney, to co-manage the project.

The task is not only to build the embankments that will contain the sea but also supporting projects. A new airport to bring workers, tourists and settlers, major road construction, a desalination plant, wind farms, power stations a thousand kilometre pipeline and many blocks of motel style housing.

The project starts at frenetic pace and leaps ahead before a series of on-site accidents hinders the progress. Mechanical failures, lost equipment and materials plus a major explosion cause disruption. Both brothers are confounded for a time and firstly suspect then know its sabotage before using lateral thinking to discover the source. Problems increase as the project becomes the target of terrorist attacks.

The story moves around the continent from Perth to the Gold Coast and from Melbourne to Darwin with Ballarat, Canberra and Sydney visited. Outback names are prominent including isolated Eucla, Caiguna, Coober Pedy and Wyndham.

The brothers go on the offensive and combat the terrorists using unconventional methods. The action scenes involve a skirmish with a shark, an insane motor cycle chase, an attempted nuclear bombing and a vehicle chase through a dust storm. There are episodes of attack by an aircraft and helicopters in action all across the works plus an armoured convoy of construction vehicles..

The isolation of the projects causes the brothers problems in their romantic relationships and their positions of power bring personal involvements with a bevy of beautiful females. Their experience grows and both learn how to manage and guide people better in a difficult and isolated situation.

Whilst the brothers do battle on the ground and find ways to get the project back on schedule, Phil Roberts conducts the board room machinations and combats political intrigue and attempted takeover.

There is action, intrigue, political agendas, romance and the excitement generated by robust characters using both their brawn and brains to overcome. The softer and feminine side is introduced through a cast of appealing women. There is the intelligent university palaeontologist, Dr Toni Ward, a maverick bull dozer driver from outback Queensland, the headstrong but courageous Kylie Bennet. Teri is the teenage office whizz and Libby Taylor is skilled PA to the CEO. The stunningly beautiful Kerry Bolton hides a duplicitous purpose. There is Jan, a brave flight attendant who knocks out the terrorists and Sharon a smart newspaper reporter.

Social conscious is touched by politicians treatment of asylum seekers, whilst governments and police are not given preferential treatment because of their supposed status.

Rollicking and fast paced there is something for just about everyone.

A story in post-apartheid South Africa about an Indian woman and a white South African who met under strange circumstances. The white mans clan started in South Africa in the late seventeenth century between the union of a German and an Indian woman from Malabar in India. It was not strange then, but the social, economic, cultural changes since have evolved radically and relations over the colour line caused serious upheavals in both groups, especially the womans clan which still adhered to age-old customs. They both had to experience dramatic changes and adaptations.

An adventure story involving two teenage students, who visit a mansion of a mysterious owner, whose ancestors were big game hunters in Africa. The mansion had many glass cases filled with stuffed animals.

One night, they were asked to accompany two strange minders and the son of

the owners butler, to help carry the spirits of the animals back to Africa, where a ceremony was to be held.

On their way, their craft was attacked by some evil aliens called jungoes, who were after the spirits. They were forced to take a short-cut through a world called The Outer Reaches.

On arrival, they found that the world had been taken over by the jungoes, who had built an electro-magnetic shield around the world to stop everyone entering or leaving, plus a plant, designed to change the atmosphere to a gas, which would kill all the creatures.

After many adventures, they escape, with a promise to return and reach the ceremony site.

They return later, together with volunteers, to rid the world of the jungoes and destroy both the shield and the gas plant.

Upon returning to earth, Sammy was attacked by a jungo.

This added a potentially horrific twist to the story.
