To accomplish this, Vrotsos enters an unholy union with the filthy rich billionaire Donovan Pratt. Pratt, a non-magical and the CEO of Pratt Pharmaceuticals, is also against the integration and bargains with Vrotsos to support his cause in exchange for the removal of the magicals from Saint Juliana’s. Piki and the other children suffering from the twin diseases are growing weaker. Vrotsos and his followers manage to infiltrate the research institute and tamper with the children’s medications.
