My name is Robert V. Jones; I am not a professional writerjust a professional truck driver that has traveled around our beautiful country several times in a truck or on a motorcycle. I wish to dedicate this first book to my mother, who had inspired me to write this book. It all started when we were looking for books for her to read, and she would always reply, I have read that book already. So I said to my wife one night, I will write a book that she hasnt read. So this book is for her, Joan M. Hunt Jones. I grew up all my life listening to stories from my granddad, father, mother, and my uncle Allen. This is how I came up with the idea of writing this story. This story is not true. I want to make sure everyone knows this is not a true story of a family, but there are some true characters and true events within this story. You will need to prepare yourself for this book by realizing that this book is a story being told to a thirteen-year-old boy by his grandpa. If youre looking for heavy sexy stories, you might want to get another book. Even the language will be kept to a low rating. Remember, a grandpa is talking to his grandson. Please enjoy the story and this book.

This little book of FEELINGS is an open door to intimate conversations with young children.
This book is a gem. I love the congruence between the visuals and the words. The gentle voice of the narration eases young children into accepting feelings as normal and offers useful ways of expressing what you feel. The message the child will be loved no matter what is vitally important. In this sense the book is also a coaching text. I strongly recommend PLEASE, TELL ME WHERE IT HURTS to all parents and teachers.
Cheryl McKenzie-Cook, Educator, EQ (Emotional Intelligence) Practitioner and Trainer.
PLEASE, TELL ME WHERE IT HURTS is a beautiful and gentle invitation into consciously experiencing our vulnerability; which is the gateway to our real strength. The text is inspiring and reassuring and the illustrations are wonderfully scaled and evoke a feeling of being embraced. So, no matter what the feelings, there is a sense of an attending safety and always being loved . Its a stunning piece of work with a potent message that is supported by a cozy feeling; most appropriate for toddlers.

I believe that Sammie is like any young girl that has a special bond with her pet. Ellie is an exciting out-going dog that you will just want to know more about. She is going to tell you her story though her eyes. Her many life lessons, many events that happened she will talk about. So come on the journey with her and Sammie. I created the art work to capture the many scenes in the stories, to draw the reader into Sammie and Ellies domain. The characters have unique personalities that you will enjoy reading about. I enjoy the processes of writing and illustrating. Seeing the characters as they go from sketches to full-color is like they have their own dispositions. I never get tired of seeing my vision come to life. I like to work towards achieving my dreams to Strive for Perfection. I would like to give thanks to those who supported me over the years. These books are great for expanding the creative minds of your children. They will have the experience of joy and amusement when reading through the chapters. These books are at a level that children can comprehend. He / She will be able to visualize what it would be like to be the characters. The text will develop your readers vocabulary and make them more articulate in words selection. The artwork will establish a sense of being a part of the story. With this new experience of art work your little reader might be interested in creating their own art work. Thank you for reading: Sammie and Ellie Author & Illustrator: Marcel Ray Duriez
