“College or Not? It’s Your Choice” is a pictorial of the implications of one’s decision to attend college or not. Because young children have a very difficult time understanding such an abstract concept as, “You need to get a good education…,” this book, through the use of pictures, shows them vividly what can happen if they choose to go to college as well as what can happen if they choose not to go to college. The characters are N.E Boy and N.E Girl. This book aims to inform children that they may choose the type of lifestyle they prefer and not end up in a lesser one by default. This book aims to take a bite out of poverty by showing young children how to avoid it.
