With years of experience in the media industry, Mansoor (MANNBUTTE) has earned an artistic caliber only a few have accomplished. In this first volume of a series, 44 ethnic and caste groups will be represented and introduced to the readers through their diverse, colorful, symbolic, and notably designed costumes. Groups like the Bahragau, Chhetri, Khadiya, Lopa, Shathar, Teli, Walung, and many others are being displayed in this book. National Costumes of Nepal is not intended as detailed review of all ethnic and caste groups of Nepal, but this is more of a photo document and show national costumes as it is nowadays.

It is a fulfillment of a promise, made many years ago, by the author to his Mother, now 86 years old, to write a book and dedicate it to her. Using light, and words, to sculpt emotion through photographs and short stories, is the aim of this poignant book. The photographs are meant not only to just be looked at, but looked into, and the words are not meant to just be read, but pondered, mentally digested, related to... "I will have judged this book a success by any positive change made in any life, any mind, any heart that I was invited into by it´s reading," states the author.
