The book covers the period from its early days in the 1840s through a volatile temperance movement in the 1870s right up to the demise of the man who had instilled the Portsmouth Brewing Company into the history of Ohio.
William M. Cullen, a native of Portsmouth, Ohio, currently lives in nearby Greenup, Kentucky. Mr. Cullen is a graduate of Shawnee State University, located in Portsmouth, with a bachelor's degree in usiness; plus, he also holds an MBA from nearby Marshall University, located in Huntington, West Virginia. In his spare time, Mr. Cullen enjoys traveling and learning about our nation's unique history.
