The events that occurred during my early twenties changed my life, and introduced me to the wonders that are not typically seen in this world. Within the pages of this book, you will meet my teacher and discover the mystical teachings of the Buddhas. Contained in the narrative are spiritual lessons you can use to start or improve your own practice. Worlds of Power, Worlds of Light is based on my perceptions and recollections of some of the time I spent with my teacher. Although there are many more stories to tell, I hope there is enough in this journal of a young woman finding her spiritual path to inspire you to find yours. So please, enjoy the journey -- see what you want, use what you will, and let the rest go.

Meditation has always been a part of my life. When I was a child, I didnt label what I was doing as meditation I just loved to sit outside in silence, absorbing everything.
As I got older, I learned to rely on meditation whenever lifes pressure seemed too much. I still didnt have a name for sitting in silence; all I knew was it worked.
In college, I learned about meditation and sat with countless teachers in San Francisco. It wasnt until I met Rama in 1992, however, that I learned the value of daily meditation.
With the power of Rama, an enlightenment master, behind me, my meditations became filled with light. Instead of being a momentary escape from stressful times, meditation became the most important part of my daily life.
As I had done with my previous teachers, I tested what Rama taught in my own life. I was overjoyed and amazed as my life became filled with power, balance, and clarity. For the first time, I had no doubt anything was possible and that I could accomplish anything I put my mind to.
In 1994 I received an empowerment from Rama to teach meditation and the spiritual practices that helped me to create a life centered in bliss and peace. In addition to teaching, I wrote "Worlds of Power, Worlds of Light" which contains many of the lessons I learned with Rama. The process of self-discovery is the most fantastic journey you can take; I hope youll explore for yourself the magic, mystery and wonder of meditation.
