Paul Wartenberg, born to a mother and a father who were hoping for a dentist, instead developed an interest in books. After surviving middle school and high school, Paul went on to the University of Florida for a Bachelors in Journalism, then to the University of South Florida for a Masters in Library Information Science. Between 1994 to 2002, Paul had been a full-time librarian with the Broward County Library system in southeast Florida. He is currently back in Gainesville at the University of Florida causing chaos and anarchy in that library system. He is owned by two finicky cats and is currently searching for a house to store his comic book collection.
