Hosting a jazz poetry set at Bohemian Caverns (11th and Ust), facilitating “More” poetry writers workshop Mocha Hut, co-hosting the Cyphers Corner, a show for by and about poetry that reaches Baltimore, DC, MD, Philly, and Atlanta keeps this woman busy. She has been featured on, WHUR (fm 96.3) Spoken Word at Joes Place, WPFW (fm 89.3,), WOL (am 1500),“The Flow”, (XM radio). Traveling from VA to Canada performing and opening sets for Gill Scott Heron, Fertile Ground, Shirley Horn, Marshall Keys, Julie Dexter, and Winnie Mandela has made this poet a seasoned one. This Poetess, Teacher, Singer, Dancer, Play-write, Artist, claims we are all connected through the arts.
