Lora René Tucker, LMSW, CASAC, has had her poetry featured throughout Metropolitan New York. Her work allows her to utilize poetry therapy in her studies and practice, Positive Directions; providing creative therapy and empowerment seminars. Ms. Tucker holds a B.F.A. in interior design from Syracuse University, and a M.S.W. from Hunter College. Her breath of experience ranges from program coordinator to adjunct professor for New York University. Born mother’s day, 1960, in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, in 1968 she moved to Howard Beach, Queens where she lived for 40 years. Presently residing in Brooklyn, Lora is a psychiatric social worker
