Marie Duncan-Wagers wrote for the political newspaper "Equal Time" in her home town of Anchorage, Alaska in which she covered stories from employment to the pipeline. Many of her short stories and poetry have appeared in nationwide magazines and newspapers. In the early 1980´s she did freelance photography for People Magazine in addition to her career as a professional photographer. Marie now resides in Florissant, Missouri with her husband of 15 plus years, her son Seth, and a small zoo of pets. Through physical obstacles of Fibromyalgia, Epilepsy and Cervical Radiculopathy she chooses to take a positive attitude in life despite pain and seizures.
