KELLY J NEWSON was born in Harbor City, California, and grew up in Los Angeles, California. KELLY J. NEWSON begin writing at the age of 8 where she also had her first piece of poetry published as well! KELLY J NEWSON attended Rio Hondo College and just before graduating KELLY J. NEWSON produced, wrote and directed her first play "MAKING THE DEAL", 2007. Shortly after graduating KELLY J. NEWSON published her first book of poetry, "OPENING WOUNDS", 2009 and within the next year published a second book, "BEFORE THE SUNRISES", 2010 thus launching her career as a writer!
