In Wings of Empowerment the author invites readers to embrace a life changing approach to stepping away from painful roadblocks. Not only does Darlene Wilson share how she escaped from a controlling tyrant but also from her own destructive thought system.
This is the sometimes torturous, often joyful journey of a woman who accepts the challenge to bravely face her fears – opening the door to a surprising new life.
In her story, Wilson illustrates her experiences with empowerment tools such as:
A Course in Miracles
The law of attraction
A bibliography of the many books Wilson utilized in her transformation is included in this work.
Forced into early retirement from her teaching career due to a painful spinal condition, Darlene Wilson’s biggest challenge is to satisfy her love of teaching. In part, she has accomplished that goal by tutoring, her work as a nutritionist, and facilitating a spiritual study group. Writing Wings of Empowerment has been a teaching endeavor as well.
Residing in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas with her partner and three overindulged felines has provided Ms. Wilson with lots of opportunity to indulge one of her greatest passions – exploring the parks and wilderness of her home state. Other interests include the arts, gardening, yoga and her greatest joy – spending time with her 2 year old grandson.
She has overcome depression, severe anxiety, and relationship addiction through her study of spirituality and psychology.
