Lillian Inglis grew up in Kensington, Prince Edward Island, and still considers it home. After 30 years as an Administrative Assistant with the Department of National Defence, she retired and moved across the country to Alberta to be with daughter Lori, son-in-law Darrell, and grandson Zachary, looking forward to expanding her horizons. Lillian has always enjoyed writing stories. Her first venture into the public forum was a humorous column titled “Dear Sis”. She then branched out to writing, producing, and directing dinner theatres at her church. Now she is beginning another phase of writing by producing a collection of children’s short stories. Lillian hopes that the messages in ‘The One That Caught Away’ will become clear and encourage conversation and questions between parent and child about judging each other, spreading gossip, and generally getting along despite our differences. Enjoy!
