I enjoy all aspects of art and recommend it for a great stress release. You don’t have to have a formal education in art to express yourself. This is one of many principles my mother instilled in me. And I always encourage my children to write during their summer sabbatical. It challenges them to stir up those creative juices and stay fit for the upcoming year ahead. I started writing poetry in sixth grade when our teacher asked each of us to keep a poetry pocket. I recognized that writing was second nature to me. So I decided to put pen to paper and here we are.
