-This is a book of 45 poems, in chronological order of when they were written. -Originally taken from a journal kept by the author. -Poems exist on their own, but underlying themes shine through the entirety. -Poems written on a personal level, but meant to reach a universal audience. -At least one poem is written entirely in spanish. -The title "Hope road" is drawn from the address of Bob Marley and his friends, when they lived at 56 hope road in Kingston, Jamaica. Bob Marley is the inspiration for the book, indirectly and directly.
