Let Go and Let God

Let go and let God take care of it all
There is no situation too big or too small

He wants you to ask for His assistance
And He wonders . . . what is your resistance?

Why would you depend on "Flesh and Man?"
When their own situation they don't even understand

There is nothing in this world that you should worry about
God is willing and able to work it out

Realize that He can fix "ALL" things
No matter what kind of drama life brings

Haven't you noticed that you're not in control?
Let go and let God play His role

He already knows what is going on with you
He's patiently waiting to be asked what to do?

Your situation is only an "Open Book Test"
With answers available by "The Best"

You are putting yourself through so much stress

Freedom

FREEDOM starts with Peace of Mind
You can only achieve it by giving God His time
When you are confused and stressed your mind is not free
The Enemy is holding you back from where God wants you to be
God wants you to be at peace
He wants negative thoughts to be released
So that your inner strength you may find
And you have positive energy all of the time
Dig deep down within yourself
Don't compare your life to no one else
FREEDOM is knowing who and what you are
Not changing when people think you are bazaar
Because you know that you were uniquely made
And there is a path God has surely laid
Allowing you to step outside of the box
Freeing you from the chains that were locked
FREEDOM comes with communication
Expressing yourself during confrontation
Not holding back on how you really feel
But being tactful and keeping it real
FREEDOM comes when you have aspirations and dreams
And you work hard at it, no matter how difficult it seems
FREEDOM comes with lending a helping hand
Reaching out to uplift your fellow man
FREEDOM comes when you confess your sins
God forgives you and a new day begins
FREEDOM is knowing that God controls your day
And it is unto Him that you must always pray
FREEDOM is a gift from the Lord
It is one of His many sacred rewards
So remember that FREEDOM starts with peace of mind
And you can only achieve it by giving God His time

The Purpose

God has a purpose for us all
You have to open your heart so you can hear Him call
There is a reason why He has created you
Because there is something that He wants you to do
You have a natural ability that you have not tapped in on
It could be drawing, writing or singing a song
There are many talents that God has bestowed upon us
Recognizing and utilizing these talents are a must
If you don't know what it is that you should be doing
Pray and ask, and then start pursuing
God will be very proud
And remove dark clouds
Because you will be fulfilling "The Purpose"
Of why He made you surface

A Lesson and a Blessing

Sometimes we go through situations
That causes us to lose motivation
And it somehow test our temptation
Brings us to a hesitation
That's when we need to stop
And have some meditation
Through our meditation
We might find
That in time
What we thought was a crime
Was truly divine

Dream to Reality

Follow your dreams
No matter how difficult they may seem
Have a vision of where you see yourself
Include peace, joy and an abundance of wealth
Success starts from within
Realize and trust that your success will begin
When you praise each other to success
Everyone involved will make progress
What drives your success?
Is it money, passion or not settling for less?
All three would be acceptable
But only if you were capable
Of staying focused on your goal
And being grateful from your heart and soul
Do not let anything or anyone hold you back
We all know that negative energy can try to distract
Remember that, "All things are possible for those that believe"
And there is absolutely no reason why you should not achieve
Your only obstacle is your own worries and fear
The sooner you let them go your success will be near
Some people only dream of their success
While others make it reality by doing their best

Sadness to Gladness

What is it that's making you unhappy and sad?
Tearing your insides up and making you mad
I think that you're well aware of the problem
But afraid to ask God to help you solve them
You're afraid that He might bring about change
And your life somehow might be rearranged
You've been so comfortable with all the sadness
While missing out on all of the gladness
How long are you going to avoid responsibility?
Of how good your life is supposed to be
Get rid of all of the madness inside
By knowing to the Lord, you can always confide

Bio Kay Carson is a native of Detroit, Michigan. She also lived in Chicago, Illinois for several years, where she received her “Spiritual Awakening” at the age of 33. God revealed her gift to Inspire, Encourage and Motivate through her talent of writing poetry. She now resides in Atlanta Georgia with her husband and 3 sons. “n-Sparayshonz by Kay”, is a book of inspirational poems that were created out of her very personal life’s experiences.
