Satanic Infl uences is an unusual story which was created from the whole cloth but which sprung from a Satanic murder committed in Mesa, Arizona. The perpetrators were apprehended. They sought punishment that would bring them back to earth as devils according to their statements. One of the people involved in that case was the writer of this story.
The story moves quickly from crime to crime, scene to scene, giving information as to the real world of satanic grottos and using that as a basis for the horrors that are committed in the book. From Phoenix to Memphis and back, from attempts to murder police offi cers to surreptitious surveillance of the grotto, from home invasions to self defense shootings the story runs at a feverish clip sometimes and sometimes gives the reader a chance to breathe and digest. It is compelling reading with a suggestive ending.
