Starting out on a journey is good in and of itself, but what really sets it apart and increases the chances of your success is your focus and planning. This book simply gives you steps to help ensure you are still working towards your hair care goals daily and weekly. Consistency is the key. As you continue to repeat these techniques, they will become a habit for you – it takes 60 days (eight weeks) for something to become a habit. Take it one day at a time and you will get there!

Lola Akingbola lives in London with her family, where she works as a medical doctor. She is currently working on her own line of hair care products for hair of African descent. She still manages www.lolascurls.com and the blog. She plans to conduct more regular hair care workshops teaching women how to care for their hair at home in practical way. Her other passions include her walk with God, running and reading.
I would recommend this book to any person of African origins as it is a great read that offers practical solutions. I have put in practice the basic principles and any impressed that my hair breakage has minimised. I'm loving the beauty of my African hair!
